MTV Presents Drake: Better Than Good Enough [Documentary]

Drake has the #1 album in the country, and now he’s gifting us with another treat: his MTV documentary Better Than Good Enough, which gives us a peek into what it’s like being Drizzy and life leading up to the release of ‘Thank Me Later’.

Drake says how he writes all his raps on Blackberry instead of a piece of paper (”The BlackBerry keys—my thumbs were made for touching them”) presents himself as laid back, introspective and vulnerable while being followed around by cameras and being asked personal questions.  Take a look at this VERY good documentary that MTV produced with a deleted scene that wasn’t aired in the original showing after the jump,

Crooks & Castles – Drake ‘Thank Me Later’ Tee/ Alife’s ‘Thank Me Now’ Tee

 

Now this is nothing too spectacular and out of the ordinary from Crooks and Alife, Crooks features what is basically the Thank Me Later album cover and Alife’s in-house design; the majority reason this caught our attention was the footage connected to it. As everyone and their mother’s grandmother are aware of, hip-hop’s golden boy and next up to the throne, Drizzy Drake, debuted his premiere album yesterday. I know right, who knew? And while probably 90% 60 – 75% of us downloaded it prior to its official release due to the majestic power of the internet, there is still no doubt that it was one of the more highly anticipated releases here lately and devout fans would still pick up a hard copy.

So Crooks & Castles, being the avid Drake supporters that they are, not only concocted this tee in honor of the album, but made a trip to their local Best Buy and scooped up the entire stock of Thank Me Later CDs. Now that’s love. That being said, stroll on over to Crooks’ website and snag the commemorative garb or go over to Alife’s and do the same and definitely check after the cut for the footage they put together of the “Best Buy Raid.” 

Drake Interviews with The.LIFE Files

the.LIFE Files caught up with Drake last night, which actually turned into this morning, in New York after his exclusive studio listening session where they legally heard all the tracks from his highly anticipated “Thank Me Later”. In this clip, Drizzy Drake talks about how he feels about his album illegally leaking online two weeks before the release date, what musicians he may wake up feeling like and hints at an upcoming movie. 

I downloaded listened to Thank Me Later and I have to say…I think it’s a great album!  View the video footage after the jump.

One of the Drake’s most anticipated records to date finally makes its grand debut today. The record features Jay-Z and highlights yet another impressive feature alongside the Toronto-based emcee. You’ll find this on the upcoming Thank Me Later album due out June 15th. In the meantime, you can check it out below!

Drake featuring Jeezy – Unforgettable

A new song off Drake’s highly anticipated debut album Thank Me Later has just appeared online. The track is entitled “Unforgettable”, Drizzy enlisted the talents of Jeezy on this relationship-centric cut. Production comes courtesy of Noah “40″ Shebib who utilizes a neat vocal sample by late R&B-Queen Aaliyah. It is said that there will be a finished version of the track with producer du jour Boi-1da reworking the drums. Thank Me Later is due June 15th. Check it out…

Drake unleashes the video for his new single “Find Your Love”.  The visual was directed by Anthony Madler and was shot in Jamaica.  The Canadian rapper is entangled in a love triangle, falling for a woman who unfortunately is the leading lady of a gang leader. His love-interested is played by Maliah Michel while the gang leader is played by Mavado. Thank Me Later is due June 15th.

So they decided to drop the latest single from Thank Me Later, titled “Find Your Love”.  Nice track, it’s looking like Drizzy’s gonna do big numbers…I’ve been playing this all morning.  Go pick up the album June 15th along with the rest of the world or e-jack it because you know it’s gonna leak.  Take a listen or download it here.
