The Dark Knight, Batman series follows up with, “Dark Knight Rises”.  The movie is set to drop July 20, 2012 and will feature Bane as the villain. Brooklyn Boheme – The 2011 Teaser

This the first five minutes of the feature documentary Brooklyn Boheme, which gives a first hand account of this vibrant African-American artistic community that included the great Spike Lee, Chris Rock, Branford Marsalis, Rosie Perez, Saul Williams and Lorna Simpson just to name a few. Narrated and written by Fort Greene resident Nelson George, this documentary celebrates “Brooklyn’s equivalent of the Harlem Renaissance” and follows the rise of a new kind of African-American artist, the Brooklyn Boheme.

This film is currently in the final stages of post production but we wanted to share with you this brand new teaser. It features never before seen footage including stunning aerials, insightful interviews and fresh graphics.  Check it out after the jump,

J is for Junkie [Full Length Documentary]

Greedmont TV presents a documentary by Corey Davis on a group of crack addicts in Atlanta, GA who live outside in a small cove behind a Texaco gas station, infamously dubbed as the “Living Room”. They share their stories and tell what it’s like to battle with a deadly addiction to crack-cocaine.

“Growing up I never had a father, because he was out running the streets getting high… Right around the time I was born, the mid 80′s, African-American communities across the country was struck by the crack epidemic. Is Getting A College Education Just A Huge Hustle???

The National Inflation Association just released the most comprehensive documentary ever produced about higher education in the United States called ‘College Conspiracy’ that exposes the facts and truths about America’s college education system and how it’s a hustle that turns vulnerable young Americans into debt slaves for life. * This is a pretty interesting documentary with VERY valid points.  Let me say this, in absolutely NO WAY are we against ANYBODY achieving a higher education and doing what you have to do and the debt you have to amass in attaining your educational and occupational goals.  This was purely posted for those who are inquisitive and look at their financial return on investment.  We both are graduates of higher learning, but sometimes you do wonder about the psychological, financial and physiological ramifications of attaining an education.  What do you think?

NASA & STEM with Pharrell Williams & Leland Melvin
